WINNETKA HOCKEY CLUB EQUIPMENT STANDARDS (updated 12/01/09)

The Winnetka Hockey Club strives to present a consistent on-ice appearance for all players. In order to achieve a uniform look, all helmets will be white and all pants must be black. Helmets will have no markings other than optional WHC logo on the sides and player's number on the back.

All players must wear protective equipment recommended by USA Hockey (helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, hockey gloves, cup, hockey pants, shin guards, and hockey skates).

In accordance with NIHL's neck guard regulation, the Winnetka Hockey Club requires neck guards to be worn by all players (boys & girls) at all WHC affiliated practices, games and tournaments. This includes goalies and does NOT include the plastic shield hanging from the goalie mask.

Mouth guards MUST be worn for players in Pee Wee and Bantam....including goalies.  Girls U12 and older also need mouthguards.
