Give Hockey a Shot! Introduce your Child to Hockey
Join us Saturday September 9 from 12:50-1:50pm for Winnetka Hockey Club's Give Hockey a Shot program, designed to introduce kids to the great game of hockey!
We'll provide the gear*, the coaching, the ice, and the encouragement. All you need to do is show up! It's a free, safe, and fun way to give the game a try, get exercise, and experience the camaraderie of the rink.
*a limited supply of hockey helmets are available. Bring a bicycle helmet to ensure your child has well-fitting head protection.

Times: 12:50-1:50pm
Your child will learn how to:
- Dress in gear
- Stand on skates
- Hold a stick
- Move the puck
- Begin to skate
Every participant will also receive their own hockey stick to keep.
Program is open to:
- Ages 4-9
- New to skating
- New to the game of hockey
